Lexington's housing mixes 1950s and 60s ranches and Capes in established neighborhoods, larger Colonials off Massachusetts Avenue, and newer custom builds. Each asks for a different approach. The mid-century ranches and Capes were built with closed-off kitchens and small baths, so the common Lexington project for us is opening a galley kitchen to the living space or expanding a primary suite into an underused bedroom or attic. Kitchen rebuilds, primary suite expansions, and finished basements lead our Lexington work. On the larger Colonials, we often modernize a dated kitchen while keeping the trim and proportions that make the house feel like Lexington. We match the work to the age of the home.
